As far as cities, it doesn’t get much better than this. Fort Collins is located in Northern Colorado and is home to Colorado State University. If you like sunshine, Fort Collins has it; close to 300 days a year.
Situated at the base of the foothills, it offers wonderful outdoor recreational activities including mountain and recreation biking, camping, fishing and hiking. Within the historic old town area, Fort Collins offers a unique shopping and local dining experience. In fact, according to the Downtown Development Authority, Fort Collins has more restaurants per capita than any other city in Colorado.
Fort Collins will definitely give you the warm feeling of a small town, but with all the amenities of a city. To sum it up, the city is awesome. It is friendly to families, college students, hikers, bicyclists, dog lovers, and micro-brew beer fans alike. The city offers something for everyone. The Wolf Robotics Internship Experience
The internship program determines if we are a good fit for each other. For all internships, with the exception of accounting, the training program will immediately start you on our manufacturing floor. This is a hands-on approach that gives you the opportunity to assemble our equipment with the idea that this will help you learn the products, processes, and people. It also helps you discover and focus on your own individual interest. Depending on your desires and your performance on the manufacturing floor, you can then move into other departments to expose yourself to new opportunities and further your development.
Here are some comments from current and former internship participants.

Thank you for your interest in joining our Wolf Pack. You are definitely in the right place. We realize that it is our people that make the difference. We are committed to finding the right people and matching those people to the right positions. Jim Collins’ book, Good to Great, uses three intersecting circles to demonstrate your own personal “Hedgehog Concept”. A “Hedgehog Concept” represents those special strengths that one brings that allow that person to be successful. For Jim Collins, and for us, a successful “Hedgehog Concept” is one that falls within those three intersecting circles. The three circles represent:
- What can you be the best in the world at?
- What drives your economic engine?
- What are you deeply passionate about?
We have found that many of our people have discovered their “Hedgehog” while being a part of such a great team here. When you love what you do that makes life fulfilling, you never feel like you work a day in your life, right? So we ask you, what is your “Hedgehog”?
